Dinosaur Game
Dinosaur Game is Chome's offline game, so what about when you're not offline? You can play it for free here. When the Chrome browser is offline and the user tries to navigate to a website, the browser notifies the user that they are not connected to the Internet. The dinosaur illustration shown at the top, designed by Sebastien Gabriel. While you play the game, a running dinosaur moves from left to right through the desert landscape, and the player avoids oncoming obstacles, including cacti and Pteranodons, by jumping or doing somersaults.
The game starts with cactus obstacles of different sizes, and when the player reaches 500 points, pterodactyls flying at different heights also appear. At 600 points, the game switches from black on white to black on blue, representing the transition from day to night, with the day sky graphics also becoming the night sky graphics. Reaching 700 points will switch the palette back; the colors will then switch back and forth with dot markers of about the next 100 points. The longer you play, the faster the dino running on the ground moves. After you bump into something, the game is over and you have to start over (your score resets too).
